Paula, Ma'Khia Bryant's mother was approached by reports concerning her daughter's death at the hands of a Columbus police officer.
She took her time to describe her daughter as a "motherly" figure and that she had a kind heart.
16 year old Ma'Khia was killed during an exchange with another girl supposedly wielding a knife. The officer claims he shot Ma'Khia 4 times to protect another girl during the altercation. My question is, with all the training you received, there was no other way to end this situation aside from murder?
We will see what plays out in the shooting. Yet another life lost, let's pray justice is served for Ma'Khia.
