Some University students are not taking COVID-19 seriously. This time there was a big consequence for students who broke the coronavirus policy. Northeastern University dismissed 11 freshman for violating the university’s public health protocols and gatherings during COVID-19. The students were found together at a Westin Hotel in Boston on a Wednesday. On Friday, they were asked to leave the hotel within 24 hours and take a COVID-19 test.
The students were told they would not be able to attend school for the fall semester and would not get their $36K tuition refunded, according to the schools policy.
