Governor Gavin Newsom announced that the state will be going into phase 2 as early as this Friday, May 8th. This means low risk jobs like sporting goods stores, clothing stores, and toy stores can now open while practicing social distancing. Parks and public spaces will also be open.
Each county will be treated differently, allowing some counties to open more stores.
Based off our progress, we’ll begin to gradually move into Stage 2 this FRIDAY.
Some sectors where there’s a lower risk of transmission will be able to adapt & re-open with modifications.
