Six Bay Area counties now require people to wear masks while out in public. Essential workers are also required to wear masks while at work around other people. San Francisco has already enforced the order. Alameda, Contra Costa, San Mateo, Marin and Sonoma counties will start requiring the face coverings this week.
You are not required to wear a N95 or surgical mask, a bandana and cloth mask can be used.
