Emeryville Gas Station Selling Ten N95 Masks For $100

A KTVU camera man spotted a sign at a Chevron register in Emeryville saying: Pack of 10 KN-95 masks for $99.99 tax. This is just one of many cases of price gouging all around the Bay Area. Stores are raising prices on some items because the lack of sales. A lot of people are trying to compensate for the sales they have lost.

It is actually illegal in California to raise the price of food and emergency or medical supplies more than 10% during a state of emergency. People can face one year in jail and up to $10,000 in fines for price gouging if reported.
