Researchers have found new things about the virus. When an infected person coughs or sneezes, the droplets can stay in the air for about three hours.

It was also found in a study that the virus can survive on metal, glass, and plastic for up to five days. On plastic, the virus can survive for nine days.

Wash your hands, clean surfaces, and stay indoors.
