In a $6 Billion renovation, the city of San Francisco & private investors are revamping Treasure Island! They plan to make an all new, environmentally sustainable, island with condos, hotels, parks and more!
Chris Meany, who's company is overseeing the transformation said of the project:
"We are creating an entirely new community of 8,000 homes - More than one of every four is slated to be affordable. We are creating ferry service between the island and the city. We are creating nearly 300 acres of open space, the largest addition of park space to the city since Golden Gate Park."
The entire project is said to take up to 20 years, but once it's done we will have a TON more livable, affordable places to choose from.
Y'all need to hurry up already on this!
