San Jose is on track to repave 280 miles of roads this year after years of complaints from South Bay residents.
Mayor Sam Liccardo had quite the corny dad joke at the press conference:
“We are going to get this done. And I’m excited to be able to say that we are on the road to repaving” *awkward smirk & slight chuckle* "sorry, that was painful. I know."
