After news broke of Usher paying $1.1 million for infecting her with an STD, we had to learn everything there is to know about the story:
- RnB superstar Usher paid an unnamed woman $1.1 million to settle a lawsuit
- She claimed she contracted herpes from him after unprotected sexual intercourse.
- The court documents shockingly reveal that Usher, real name Usher Raymond IV, was alleged to have knowingly given the woman the virus after telling her he was clean.
- The files also claim that she saw ‘greenish discharge’ from Usher's penis but after the singer attended an appointment with a doctor he told her that it was nothing abnormal, so she continued the relationship.
- The plaintiff was later diagnosed with herpes, complete with vaginal sores, fevers and chills.
- The woman has not been named, but it is thought she is a celebrity stylist
- She ‘feels that her health and body have been ruined,’ and she ‘has suffered severe emotional distress and has been extremely depressed… knowing there is no cure.’
- Passing on a sexually transmitted disease without informing your partner that you are aware of the condition is illegal under Californian law.
- Usher, 38, also paid for medical bills of $2,754.40 on behalf of the plaintiff.
