If you've ever wanted a Husky for a pet - you're in luck!
The Peninsula Humane Society and SPCA currently has 15 huskies/husky mixed dogs for adoption. According to Communications Manager Buffy Martin Tarbox, huskies are one of the trendier dogs (maybe due to Game of Thrones) and owners may have bit off more than they can chew with the wolf-like canine.
To make sure these majestic dogs find forever homes, PHS/SPA is reportedly offering a special adoption deal that includes free training and essential pup gear like collar, toys, harness, etc. According to NBC Bay Area, all huskies/husky mixes have been spayed, neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. The agency is also looking for homes with experience with the breed.
If you're up for the job, the adoption fee is currently set at $160.
