TMZ has confirmed that Lance Reddick, best known for his work on HBO's "The Wire" and the "John Wick" film series, has passed away.
According to law enforcement officials, Lance's body was found at his Studio City residence on Friday about 9:30 AM. His cause of death is yet unknown, but according to law enforcement sources, it seems to have been natural.
Prior to his work on "John Wick," Lance was best known for his role as the fictional Baltimore Police Department officer Cedrick Daniels on the popular HBO series "The Wire," in which he appeared in all five seasons.
Moreover, Lance appeared frequently in a number of well-known TV programs, such as "Fringe," "Bosch," "Oz," and "Lost."
In the upcoming Disney+ series "Percy Jackson and the Olympians," Lance plays the Greek god Zeus, among other unreleased projects.
