After rugby player Joe Westerman appeared to be seen in a graphic video performing a sex act, Twitter was flooded with mocking memes.
The widely circulated video tape, which has prompted an internal investigation by his club Castleford Tigers, is alleged to include the 33-year-old married father of three.
Lauren, his actual wife, tweeted: "Can I make it VERY clear that this is NOT me!!!!!! We have three children one of whom is almost 15 and she doesn't need to see things like this all over social media!'
A quick search for Joe Westerman on Twitter will reveal a sexually explicit video of a man and women in an alley, with the man performing a sex act on the woman while his pants are down.
Dailymail reports his wife is no longer speaking to him and was devestated for her children after her husband was forced to make a public apology in the wake of the scandal.
Westerman was forced to pay a substantial fine to his club and ordered to help educate young people on the effects of alcohol, plus the dangers of social media when in the public eye.
