It seems Cardi B is taking a chapter from 50 Cent's book and is allegedly garnishing the accounts of blogger Tasha K after winning a $4 million judgement in her defamation lawsuit against the blogger. Cardi B's attorneys filed to seize the bloggers property and assets owed by due to the false accusations claiming Cardi B had Herpes and was an escort.
These false allegations resulted in a jury awarding Cardi B $1 million in damages and $250k for medical expenses. Cardi B was also awarded $1.5 million in punitive damages and $1.3 million for her attorney fees. Although Tasha filed an appeal, it has yet to see it's day in court.
Radaronline is now reporting Cardi B's attorneys have filed paperwork in Georgia to begin the process of collection. Reportedly, they have already filed to garnish the bloggers Chase bank accounts in attempt to collect the money owed. Making things worse, Cardi B's attorneys allegedly demanded Chase provide details on all accounts, assets, properties, wages and safe deposit boxes Tasha K has with the bank. Tasha responded to the filing pleading with the court to stay the execution until a decision is made in her appeal.
The courts have yet to rule on either cases.
