Young Buck, a former G Unit labelmate, is said to be attempting to file bankruptcy which 50 Cent has filed a motion to stop.
Buck declared bankruptcy in 2020. Declaring bankruptcy would allow Buck to avoid paying 50 Cent the $250,000 he owed 50 Cent for failing to provide two new albums for the G-Unit label.
50 Cent and his legal team have filed proceedings to collect on the debt, claiming he is hiding high value assets, according to AllHipHop.
The petition states: “By failing to disclose the Works and the Royalties, including without limitation at his meeting of creditors and in his petition and schedules, Defendant, with intent to hinder, delay, or defraud a creditor, creditors, and/or an officer of the estate, has transferred, removed, destroyed, mutilated, or concealed, or has permitted to be transferred, removed, destroyed, mutilated, or concealed his Property, within one year before the Petition Date, or property of the estate, after the Petition Date.”
Attorneys for 50 Cent are also claiming Young Buck hid the ownership of a black 2017 F-250 truck, which Buck allegedly falsely claimed was junk, making the vehicle impossible for the estate to recover.
