Four people have been detained in connection with a series of thefts across the Bay Area, including one that targeted a Canadian film team on Twin Peaks in San Francisco.
Deleon Miller, Torrion King, and Teddy Williams have been charged with four charges of felony second-degree robbery that occurred on March 25 and March 28 in both San Francisco and Alameda counties, according to Alameda County District Attorney Nancy O'Malley.
As convicted felons, King and Miller risk additional gun charges. At the time of his arrest, King was on parole and Miller was on felony probation.
Meanwhile, the alleged getaway driver in the Twin Peaks incident, Ronnell Johnson, has been charged with three counts of felony second-degree robbery. In addition, he is facing a robbery charge in San Francisco.
The robbery was caught on video by shocked bystanders and went viral highlighting the increasing number of armed robberies around the Bay Area.
The four suspects were apprehended after an armed robbery in Oakland on March 28th, according to investigators. The victim was able to track the things taken electronically, which allowed Oakland police officers to track down the perpetrators' vehicle.
During the Oakland robbery investigation, officers discovered that Miller, King, and Williams were also responsible for the March 25 robbery of a Canadian film team.
