Since the viral video of Will Smith slapping Chris Rock has been commented on non stop, Rock himself has not spoken or addressed the incident publicly. It was reported that Rock was confused and in disbelief following the live on-stage incident. Now, Chris Rock opened his show in Boston Wednesday night, saying he's still trying to "process what happened" and that at some point, he will talk about the incident in details, but not right now. Reports from people in attendance said Chris Rock opened saying "Let me be all misty and s***," he said with tears in his eyes.
"I don't have a bunch of s*** to say about that, so if you came here for that," he said. "I had written a whole show before this weekend. I'm still processing what happened, so at some point I'll talk about that s***. It'll be serious. It'll be funny, but right now I'm going to tell some jokes."
I truly hope Rock and Will have the opportunity to meet and discuss what happened. It's obvious Rock is hurt by what happened. Let's hope the can work things out.
