San Jose Police Department announced the arrest of 27-year-old Cheryl Ann Yee after she allegedly confessed to killing her mother.

SJPD responded to a call on 3/20/2022 at 12:24pm after a woman called confessing to killing her mother. Officers responded to a home at 4800 block of Springdale Drive in San Jose to find a 2 woman, one suffering from a stab wound and pronounced dead at the scene. The other woman, Cheryl Ann Yee, and also the alleged caller was taken into custody. Police are still investigating.
Yee was booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail for homicide.
