Heartbreaking news for the fashion world. Andre Leon Talley, some call the "Fashion Godfather," and Vogue Magazine editor-at-large has passed away at the age of 73. It's reported he passed away in a hospital in White Plains, NY.
Talley was most known for how instrumental he was to Vogue's vision and direction in the '80s and '90s. It was then he worked his way up the magazine ranks to eventually become the news director -- which he helmed from '83 to '87 -- and then ascended to Vogue's creative director in '88. He eventually became Vogue's EAL until he retired in 2013.
