Leave it to Snoop to get the job done! Dailymail is reporting that Snoop Dogg was successful in helping to petition the leaving president, Donald Trump, to pardon former Death Row Records Co-Founder Michael ‘Harry-O’ Harris. Harris is now a free man after Trump pardoned him Tuesday, after spending 32 years in prison for attempted murder and drug trafficking. Harris was convicted of murder and kidnapping in 1988. Since then, he has reinvented himself inside campaigning for prison reform.
Snoop Dogg allegedly ran a private campaign enlisting people like Ivanka trump, Jared Kushner, and justice reform campaigners to help to have his friend pardoned by the president.The release was signed off on Monday. Initially, White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows warned President Trump not to sign the pardon but with the influence of the presidents family, Trump went on with the decision.
Harris helped run Death Row Records from is cell after founding the company with a $1.5 million investment. Harris also ran a multiple successful & legitimate businesses, including a theater company that gave Denzel Washington his first break. Now that he's home, im sure we will be hearing from Harris soon!
