How A Tweet Got Steph Curry's Attention To Fix A Run Down Court In Oakland

Funny how one tweet can make all the difference for an entire community. A twitter user from East Oakland, @Nimfromthaeast, took to social media asking the Warriors, Draymond Green, Alfonzo Mckinnie and more players for help fixing a run down basketball court at Concordia Park. His tweet collected over 700 retweets and 1.2k likes. He wrote:

So Look Bruh, City Of Oakland Won’t Fix Our Courts. I Called 311 hella times, been waiting for almost half a year. We don't have lights, trashcans, smooth pavement, nor a second backboard/hoop. Can yall come through??
@warriors @1jordanbell @Money23Green @Loon_Rebel5 @_Alvo_

It looks like Steph Curry got the message because he was there to unveil the new and improved Concordia basketball court!

Steph along with his foundation, Eat Learn Play, and Under Armour revamped the court to inspire the next generation of ballers!

And of course, the man who brought it to their attention was there for the unveiling.
