My Time @ Black History Month Event presented by the Golden State Warriors

Culture, literacy, Arts, and Food are some of the words I would use to describe my experience at the Black history month celebration that The Golden State Warriors put on at Thrive City yesterday. I had an amazing time enjoying the children dance and put on their various performances. Children from all over the bay area helped Oakland danced spoke poems and performed. Former Golden State Warrior Adonal Foyle read his book to the crowd, "Too Tall Foyle" . Renowned Chef Nelson George showed us how to whip up his special Chicken and Plantains dish that was absolutely delicious. Check out more below and also via my instagram page.
