Thursday's NFL Kickoff game between the Houston Texans and the Kansas City Chiefs might start with a player demonstration.
NFL Network's Tom Pelissero quotes sources saying players from both teams will participate in some form of protest before the game. It could be both teams staying in the locker rooms for the National Anthem but no one knows for sure.
Pelissero says team leaders Patrick Mahomes, Deshaun Watson, and Kenny Stills are leading the effort.
This would be in line with sports figures using their platform to protest social injustice and police brutality over the last several months.
