Khalid wants to give back to another young songwriter.
He is teaming up with Reebok for the Write Your Legacy contest. One lucky winner will get the chance to be mentored by Khalid and get $10,000 to put toward their music career.
Khalid is also busy working on his third album.
He told Complex, "I’m zoning in on my creativity. I feel like I’m taking it back to the basics, kind of writing the album how I approached American Teen, and American Teen is so special to me. I feel that same sort of inspiration I felt when I first started creating.”
