Twitter has been coming for Billie Eilish since giving her opinion on rap music.
Eilish said, There's a difference between lying in a song and writing a story. There are tons of songs where people are just lying. There's a lot of that in rap right now, from people that I know who rap.
She went on to say: "It’s like, ‘I got my AK-47, and I’m f**kin’,’ and I’m like, what? You don’t have a gun. ‘And all my bitches…’ I’m like, which bitches?"
One person on Twitter said, People have been saying that for like 25 years. It was bulls**t then and it’s bulls**t now!
Another tweeted, I might have been in grade 6 the first time I heard a white person make this criticism of hip hop.
Others accused Eilish of using hip-hop and rap influence for her own style so she shouldn’t criticize the genre.
