People are flooding the DM’s of Drake’s ex, Keshia “KeKe” Chante now that the “In My Feeling” challenge is everywhere. The two grew up in Toronto together and dated when Drake was 14.
Genius is reporting that during a 2013 taping of BET’s 106 & Park that Drake told “KeKe”, who was then hosting the show, that she was one of his first crushes and that he had written a song about her before.
Looking over Drake’s song history it seems that he has written about Keisha a couple of songs with “KeKe” in mind, including a 2009 remix of one of Keshia’s songs, “Fallen” and he dedicated “Madonna” to her in 2015.
The two have remained friends, Chante even posted a picture of them together during Drake’s Amsterdam stop of his Boy Meets World Tour.
As if we needed further proof, In April Chante tweeted “He put it in a song so I know it’s real,” she wrote.
