Facebook's New 'Snooze' Feature Could Filter Spoilers From Your News Feed

Facebook is rolling out a new feature that could have users very happy about the control over their social media. “Snooze” is being tested to a limited amount of Facebook users starting on Wednesday. The feature will allow you to “snooze” or block certain keywords like “Trump” or “Game of Thrones” and will prevent it from showing content containing that keyword from your timeline.

The feature can be found alongside your news feed controls like “see first”, “hide” and “unfollow”.  Just as the name suggests you’ll only be able to pause the keywords being blocked from your timeline for 30 days and it only blocks content that contains the keywords so you may still be subject to ads that contain a keyword that you previously blocked.

The feature will be available to a couple million users next week and if successful the feature will be available to more Facebook users.
