Later today, The City of Oakland will announce it will sell its half of the Coliseum complex to the African American Sports and Entertainment Group with a new vision for the site. The A’s own the other half and is rumored to be in negotiations to sell their half as well. It's an influential group that has plans for a massive entertainment, retail and residential development that could revitalize the Coliseum area and the city.
The sell is at least for $105M!
What do you think the new site will consist of? Housing complex? A better sports venue? I guess we shall see!
