Oakland Popeyes Chicken Shut Down Due to Unsafe Working Conditions

The Popeyes franchise shut its East Oakland location down today after claims of unsafe work conditions and child labor violations. Two 17- year old employees who worked at the 70th & International location filed labor and safety complaints from an incident from back in February when a customer climbed over the counter and assaulted a worker. Head quarter shut down the location today saying an investigation is underway into the claims. Workers want the State to investigate the claims. Have you ever filed a complaint on your job?
