California Loses 500K Residents in 2 Years as High Cost of Living Increases

California's major cities have been affected by homelessness, crime and constantly rising housing costs, causing many residents to move to other states like Utah, Nevada and southern parts of the Country. According to the Los Angeles Times, census data showed more people are leaving California than coming in. In the last two years, California has led the Country losing over 500,000 residents. New York was second losing 485,000 residents. Despite the shrinkage, California remains the most populated U.S. state with about 38 million residents. Are you ready to move out of California?
