Woman's Car Gets Bipped for Over $40k in Oakland's Montclair Village

The owner of a salon was a victim of bipping this past weekend in Oakland's Montclair area. While she waited in line to get her Starbucks coffee, suspects pulled up to her vehicle, bipped the back window, and grabbed her bag from the back seat which contained $40,000, a laptop and an iPad. in an interview with KTVU the victim, Crystal Renee Franklin said, " I started to take my backpack with me, i really did but, it was raining really bad and I didn't wanna be seen with the backpack on and be more of a target for robbers."
