5,400 Pound NASA Satellite Falls Back to Earth After 40 Years in Space

Sunday night an old NASA satellite fell from space into the Bering Sea after 40 years. No one was reportedly injured or hit by the satellite as debris from the 3 ton satellite fell into the sea. NASA was unsure of where the satellite would fall with a 1 in 9,400 chance of someone getting hit. Luckily, most of the satellite burned up during re entry into the earth's atomosphere.
