Russian prosecutors asked a court in Moscow to sentence WNBA super star Brittney Griner to 9½ years in prison on cannabis possession charges. Brittney was caught with cannabis oil in her luggage at the Moscow Airport. Griner, addressed the judge Thursday, saying that she "Never meant to break any law." Russia law prohibits anyone having any form of cannabis. Brittney has been in jail since February of this year. "I know everybody keeps talking about 'political pawn' and 'politics,' but I hope that is far from this courtroom," Griner said.
