Over the weekend, Michelle Obama tweeted a release date of November 13th, she says the book will tell the story of "how a girl from the South Side found her voice."
She said writing the book has been a "deeply personal experience" and will also narrate the audiobook. The Obamas signed a joint book deal last year with Penguin Random House, believed to be over $30 million. Michelle published the gardening book American Grown in 2012.
Ellen Degeneres responded to the announcement, tweeting "Excited to see how many chapters are about me."
