Kodak Black has been recognized for everything he's achieved this year.

On Saturday, November 5, Booby Trap On The River posted photos of the Pompano Beach native smiling from ear to ear after he received an award for "Trapper of the Year." The trophy was inspired by his hit song "Super Gremlin," which went platinum earlier this year. It features 'Yak in the form of a gremlin complete with a chain and a cross tattoo on his forehead. The award was presented to Kodak for all the work he's put in 2022 after he hosted a music festival, dropped two studio albums and delivered a slew of collaborations.

The award comes after "Super Gremlin" was nominated for Song of the Year at the BET Hip Hop Awards 2022. Kodak performed at the annual awards show last month with high hopes that he'd take home the trophy. After Latto won the award, Kodak took to social media to express his frustration at the network.

“I Called It Out A Few Weeks Ago ! Ain’t No Way They Gone Let No MF Kodak Win A Dam Award Even If The Card Is Right In Front Of Them," Kodak wrote. "The Whole Point Of Everything Was Bout Woman Empowerment ! The Females Been Crying All Year Bout It ! @connieorlando Gave All Females Awards If They Deserved It Or Not !”

Kodak was presented the award before Drake and 21 Savage invaded the venue to celebrate the release of their joint album Her Loss. 'Yak was one of the few special guests who partied with the "Jimmy Cooks" duo after the album dropped. In addition to 'Yak, G Herbo was also in the building.
