It's not only wildfire season, but temps are expected to hit record highs this holiday weekend, especially in more inland cities. Due to high fire risk the East Bay Parks and Rec put out a list of outdoor spaces that will be closed. Some of the parks include Black Diamond Mines, Contra Loma, Lake Chabot, Mission Peak, Shadow Cliffs and Tilden and closures will go into place as early as Sunday 9/4. In good news the Tilden Trains, Merry Go Round and Golf Course will remain open. Stay cool and hydrated!!
