The "happiest" city in America is in the Bay Area and it's not San Francisco or San Jose!
According to a study done by House Fresh, Concord was named the "Happiest" City in America. In the study, researchers "[analyzed] a database of Instagram selfies from every state and the 100 biggest U.S. cities to see which are the happiest places to live" and used this data to rank cities by the percentage of people smiling.
Concord reportedly scored a 79.14 out of 100.
San Francisco was ranked 15 on the list with a happiness score of 62.13.
