Well, that's one way to start your vacation!
On Monday, a Southwest plane bound for Maui was forced to return to the Oakland Airport after discovering a mechanical issue on the plane.
According to KRON 4, "Officials with Southwest Airlines said thrust reversers, which deploy when the plane lands, slid back and created a gap in the side of the engine."
The plane landed safely and passengers were set to board another aircraft.
