Shanteari Weems and her husband were reportedly in a hotel room, when she shot her husband, injuring but not killing him. The two were apparently having a very heated convo when Shanteari asked her husband about allegations made by the parents of three of the children that said he had molested them while they were enrolled at Lil Kidz Kastle Daycare Center, the daycare she owns and for which he is the bus driver. Shanteari says she reached for her weapon when her husband, James who is a retired police officer, came towards her. While James is receiving medical treatment, a warrant for his arrest has been issued and he has reportedly been hit with multiple charges. He has been under investigation since the allegations of sexual abuse were brought to the police. You may find yourself agreeing with how Shanteari handled the situation, but she is also facing a charge for assault with the intent to kill.
