Barack Obama dropped his annual Summer Reading List and this year, he mentions four Bay Area authors!
Shout out to Oakland's Ezra Klein, San Francisco's Jennifer Egan, along with Stanford Alums Charmaine Wilkerson and Lan Samantha Chang. Get more information on these authors and their work here.
Obama also dropped his annual Summer Playlist. While no Bay Area artists were featured in the 2022 list, Vallejo's own H.E.R. was featured in past playlists.
