A Livermore Jack in the Box is under fire for allegedly refusing to serve two deaf customers.

According to NBC Bay Area, Cesar Ayala and his friend decided to go on a Jack in the Box run around 1am over the weekend. Since they are both deaf, they attempted to order their food from the drive-thru window.

The pair reportedly tried to communicate with the employee, but he allegedly got angry, slammed the window and is heard on video saying that he was going on a break.

Ayala told NBC Bay Area, "“It was my first time going through something like that. It’s happened to other deaf people. I’m aware of it happening to other deaf people in the past. We've seen other situations like this come up across the country. I feel like I’m really fighting for them too at this point.”
