Verzuz got back on your good side when the announcement that there could potentially be a subscription fee to view the most recent battle was reversed. But now it looks like your love for the Verzuz stage will not only deepen, but you might fall in love with the whole concept all over again. Lena Waithe will take on the producer role of 'Black & Gifted', and she has the opportunity to team up with Timbaland & Swizz Beatz to document the journey of the Verzuz battle stage. The feature film will reportedly not only capture the Verzuz launch but it will explore black music, the transformation the concept made through the Pandemic and how it brought music, performance, entertainment and culture to the world during a time when it was most needed. The project will be available on Amazon Prime.
