We've heard so many stories of people battling Covid 19 in and out of hospitals, some with happy outcomes others with deadly endings. Yet the one piece of the story that is consistent is that these people are typically in quarantine fighting for their health and in tougher cases their lives away from loved ones and the outside world. Maria Ferrampau is one of the champions against Covid. At 80, she has been able to fight back against Covid despite all the underlying conditions she is also challenging. Her family, the doctors and the nurses say that she is a departure from the norm - and her family thinks she's been able to beat the odds because after many months in the hospital under quarantine, she can now have her family visit her. Once she was able to be reconnected with her husband- they saw a difference in her and each and every time her family could come visit - she would become more lively. Now after 10+ months in the hospital - she was able to be released and re-join her family. They are looking forward to spending the holidays together!!
