Two Oakland Elementary Schools Temporarily Shut Down For Flea Problem

Two Oakland elementary schools have been temporarily shut down after they ran into a flea problem. Esperanza and Korematsu Discovery Academy schools. Officials say the flea problem started after having a problem with raccoons at the schools. Exterminators have been working to get rid of the fleas and resume classes on October 4. Cleaning crews will be doing a deep clean in classrooms and common areas removing carpets.
