Academy Award, Grammy, and Emmy award-winning artist Common is releasing his album. A BEAUTIFUL REVOLUTION PT. 2, will be released on September 10th. He sat down with Sana G, DC, and G Biz to talk about the album and how different it will be from part 2.
The album feels great...I created part 1 during the time when we were dealing with the political climate with the killing of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor. I really wanted to create music that was dealing with that anger and angst and create activism music. This album is more of the joy of revolution and self-empowerment.
One of Sana G's favorite shows is Never Have I Ever on Netflix and talked to Common about his appearance on the show and making out with the main character's mom.
I had a lot of fun doing that show. I was watching the show before I got on it...When they asked me to be on it, I was geeked!
