San Francisco's Swan Oyster Depot is being accused of racism after an Asian customer shared his experience on Instagram.
After waiting in line for over an hour, Tin Dinh said the popular oyster spot's waiter was rude and proceeded to call him "Dim Sum" after making a mistake while ordering. When asked why they were using the term, staff replied saying "that's the term we use when someone needs more than one waiter, it has nothing to do with race."
Unhappy with his experience, Dinh took to Instagram to expose the restaurant and break down his experience.
"Please help me share the word on this racist incident to pressure the business to own up to their action and make sure they are putting their customers’ mental and physical health a priority."
