San Francisco dental offices have until October 13th to comply with the new vaccine mandate. The mandate states that all dental employees working in San Francisco County must be vaccinated unless exempt due to medical or religious purposes. After October 13th, only exempt employees will have the option to be tested weekly.
The California Dental Association (CDA) is reportedly "seeking additional guidance on how employers should respond if employees refuse to be vaccinated. In the interim, employers are encouraged to seek legal advice before separating from an employee."
Los Angeles dental offices have until September 30th to comply.
