Suni Lee became the First Asian American Woman to win a Gold Medal in All Around in Women's Gymnastics. The win is just ONE of the three medals she brought home with her! Once she got back home she wanted to deliver her medals to her parents in a tearful moment you can see in the video below. The moment was so emotional because her family is so proud of her and this was the first time they were reunited since her win, because they weren't able to join her in Tokyo for the Olympics. Suni's dad is now paralyzed and she not only wanted to work hard for a win because she can walk and he can't, but also because he is one of her main supporters. He even built her a homemade balance beam when she was a little girl when they couldn't afford gymnastic training.

Suni Lee and Grace McCallum both Team USA Gymnasts and fellow Olympic winners continued their homecoming celebration when they were surprised by a huge crowd at the airport back home in Minnesota. Another happy moment for these well deserving young ladies. Suni's next challenge is college! Go SUNI - Go Team USA!!
