Oakland Chinatown has reportedly become a hot spot for both violent and hate crimes. The Oakland Police Department, as well as the ATF and FBI, are working diligently to make streets safer for businesses and residents, especially the elderly.
According to KRON4, more uniformed officers will be patrolling the streets and will be focusing on "illegal guns and curbing hate crimes."
