First responders are still hard at work over a week later searching through the wreckage and rubble that is the tragic collapse of the condo building in Surfside, Florida. Now they are reportedly being faced with more danger as the rest of the condo looks as though it may collapse. With the number of deceased continuing to climb, the rescuers are hard at work to find survivors, since there are still reportedly over 120 people unaccounted for. There were over 50 condos with residents asleep in them when the building unexpectedly crumbled. Volunteers and first responders are traveling from all over the nation to help, including some from the Bay Area. Families are near the site waiting to be reunited with family and the community is coming together to provide shelter to the displaced, food, water and even grief counseling to the survivors, rescuers and families waiting for news.
