Oakland City Council To Vote On Waterfront Ball Park For The A's

Rumors were circulating earlier this week about the Oakland A's relocating and Las Vegas being a strong contender. In an effort to keep the A's in Oakland, the city council will vote on the Howard Terminal ballpark and downtown development proposal.

According to the San Francisco Chronicle, a letter from the Oakland City Council stated:

“The Oakland City Council is committed to negotiating in good faith for a strong future for the A’s in Oakland, and we invite the A’s and MLB to do the same by agreeing not to seek relocation while the A’s complete the project process as the Council moves forward.”
